The UNODC, in collaboration with UN Women and the Government of Balochistan (GoB), has successfully concluded a transformative series of five capacity-building training sessions for law departments across all four provinces. The ‘Training on Legislative Drafting for Legal Drafters’ brought together 78 participants, including 13 women representing diverse criminal justice institutions. In recognition of their dedication, all participants received certifications of participation along with comprehensive manuals and training modules. Mr. Suhail Shahzad, Professor of Law at the University of Peshawar and the primary instructor, highlighted the enthusiastic engagement of the participants throughout the training. He emphasized their keen interest in all the topics discussed, noting that the sessions provided a valuable platform for sharing institutional experiences in legislative drafting. This intervention is made possible through the generous funding of @EUPakistan under the ‘Delivery Justice Project.’
