Aligned with the Rule of Law Revised Roadmap in Balochistan, U.S. Ambassador Donald A. Blome marked a significant milestone by inaugurating the Women and Juvenile Facilitation Centre (WJFC) in Quetta on November 20, 2023. This initiative, generously supported by the U.S. Embassy Office of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) and established collaboratively with Balochistan Police, signifies a crucial step forward in addressing gender-based violence, guided by the principles outlined in the 2023-26 Rule of Law Roadmap.

With the 2023-26 Rule of Law Roadmap as its guiding framework, the WJFC aims to fulfill its primary objective of providing comprehensive services and secure spaces for survivors of gender-based violence. Aligned with the Rule of Law principles, the center offers a holistic range of support, including first aid, counseling, legal advice, psychosocial assistance, and referrals for shelter, legal aid, and protection. Through strict adherence to the principles laid out in the Rule of Law Roadmap of 2023-26, the WJFC endeavors to empower survivors, facilitating their access to essential assistance and fostering a culture of compassion and justice in Balochistan for victims of gender-based violence.
